While getting my fix of the morning news today I came across a couple of articles that really got me charged up (in a good way). On November 22nd Our CEO Don Gillispie published a great article in his series “Fuel For Thought” (these articles can be read right from the AEHI Home Page www.aehipower.com ).  Today’s contribution comes to us from the great Bill Tucker. Bill just e-mailed me and gave me permission to publish his article “There Is No Such Thing as Nuclear Waste” in today’s blog installment. This particular study is out of Australia and is a very well organized and peer reviewed piece of work. The study compares prices of legitimate sources of power generation in a world where carbon output has a fungible price associated with it.

The first concrete was poured at a new nuclear power plant last Monday!  The plant is being built at Kakrapar in Gujarat India.  Officially, the groundbreaking for the project was in January, but pouring the first concrete is always an exciting milestone for a new nuclear plant.

Any engineer will tell you that given the same needs, specifications, resources, budgets, and time constraints competing engineering teams (working in secrecy and with no connections to each other) will always come up with the same design. In short, great minds think alike.

AEHI has never waited for the federal government to do anything.  AEHI has, from the very start, identified what needs to be done and pressed ahead.  Considering that CEO Don Gillispie is an INPO founder this comes as no real surprise.

A recent article in the Houston Chronicle by Bud WeinStein details how the state of Texas has realized that nuclear power is the most efficient and cost effective means of generating the power that the Lone Star State needs to acheive it's growth objectives.
