www.ceocfointerviews.com Interviews Don Gillispie, President, CEO and Chairman of Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc.
Interview conducted by: Bud Wayne, Editorial Executive, CEOCFOinterviews.com, Published – December 3, 2010
CEOCFO: Mr. Gillispie, would you give us a little history of Alternate Energy Holdings and tell us your vision?
Mr. Gillispie: I had retired as an energy executive a number of years ago and I had worked mostly in the nuclear energy area. I was a little frustrated that the country had not relaunched nuclear power plants in the United States. I went to a conference that I use to go to when I worked more actively; it was a CEO conference for the nuclear utilities CEOs and it is held annually in Atlanta, Georgia. In late 2004, I attended that and I saw some old friends, which was part of the reason that I went, but I wanted to ask a silly question of these CEOs and Chief Nuclear Officers. I wanted to know when we were going to build a new nuclear plant, because we hadn’t built one since before Three Mile Island. I felt that we should be back doing it again because it was a good technology, it would help with global warming, it was low cost energy and it was reliable. Well the consistent answer among the utilities, which tend to be somewhat conservative in their thinking, is that thy though that it is a good idea, but they didn’t want to be first. They wanted someone else to take the flack.

P & Z Commissioner to Snake River Alliance: "I'm offended."
Posted by George Prentice on Fri, Dec 3, 2010 at 10:57 AM
A half-dozen representatives from the Snake River Alliance took to the microphone to question the proposed plant's stress on water, Idaho's need for more power and the economic feasibility of bringing highly skilled jobs into a rural setting.
About three hours into the marathon, Payette P&Z Commissioner Farrell Rawlings said he had heard enough from the Alliance.
"Our governor is in favor of this. Every mayor in this county is in favor of this. I'm offended that there's not one positive thing that you and your group has contributed to this discussion," said Rawlings.

BOISE, Idaho, October 25, 2010 - Alternate Energy Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: AEHI) (www.aehipower.com/), which develops and markets innovative clean energy sources, is "positioned to be a successful emerging growth company because after the November elections, the next U.S. Congress, newly-elected governors and state legislatures are predicted to be more favorable to helping the U.S. nuclear power sector grow, ushering in a new pro-nuclear power era.
The global scarcity of water and energy is another reason why AEHI will certainly prosper and prove to be a winner in the years ahead," stated Larry Oakley, Editor and Publisher of WallStreetCorner.com (www.wallstreetcorner.com/daily.html) in a special situation column, "Larry Oakley's Comment," published today. TNT - October 20th, 2010 - 10:41 AM - More Energy Blogs
A local college working on a group project thought it smart to get some facts from the company itself. And when approached by reason Mr Gillispie will find time to educate.
Questions:
How much power does a reactor of this type produce?
Depending on the design from 800 to 1700 MWe for todays reactors.
What are the safety features of this reactor?
The reactor is an advanced generation 3 plus reactor with double containment making any release of material virtually impossible. No one has ever been killed or harmed from a western style nuclear reactor which are over 95% of the worlds reactors after almost 100,000 reactor years of operation including western military reactors.
